The museum does not apply the reduced fee according to age.

Intended for works committees, collectivities, associations and tourism professionals, tickets purchased In large quantities give access to the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions in progress on the Iéna site and the Hôtel d’Heidelbach.
They are valid for one year following their publication date and do not avail of a special time slot.

Reservations are mandatory for all groups, either for an autonomous visit or an activity with a museum mediator.
Reservation for a group over six persons without a speaker (autonomous visit) is free. However, admission to the museum is for a fee for adults and those in charge of the group. They then benefit by a reduced fee. The request must be made at least 10 working days prior to the requested visit.
For the guided visits organised by outside lecturers, reservation is required, even if the visit is for less than six persons. This reservation grants a right to speak and participants enjoy the benefit of a reduced fee.
For school groups, entrance is free for the accompanying adults, limited to 6 persons.

Groups of adults and students in the permanent collections are limited to a maximum of 25 persons (including accompanists).

N.B. Only curators of French and foreign museums, teachers and lecturers possessing a professional card are authorised to take the floor before a group.

The “Friends of Musée Guimet” card allows free and unlimited access to the Musée Guimet, its permanent collections and temporary exhibitions, lectures and video-conferences, exclusive private visits, travel, the museum auditorium, reduced prices in the boutique and the museum restaurant, as well as other advantages.
The “Young friends of the Musée Guimet” card at 20 € / year, reserved to persons under 35 years of age, entitles to all the advantages of the Friends of Guimet as well as access to relevant activities.

The Paris Museum Pass offers free access to over 50 museums (only permanent collections) as well as to monuments in Paris and the Paris region. It is for sale at the museum cashier’s desk and offers 1 entry in each site. The duration of use begins at the time of the first visit. So it is valid for 48, 96 or 144 consecutive hours.

Be careful to not confuse the PMP with the Paris Musées card, valid only in the museums of the City of Paris and not in the national museums, as is the case for the Musée Guimet.
Upon presentation of a ticket from the Musée Guimet, you can enjoy a reduced price on the ticket giving access to both the Musée Gustave Moreau and Musée Jean-Jacques Henner. A ticket from the Musée Gustave Moreau and Musée Jean-Jacques Henner entitles you to a reduce price ticket at the Musée Guimet.
The tickets are to be presented at the ticketing office or at the entrance in the 15 days following their purchase.

Reservation is not obligatory but recommended, especially on weekends and during major exhibitions. Tickets are also sold directly at the cashier’s desk in the limit of available places in the time slot.
There is no online reservation for the 1st Sunday of each month.
If the operation was duly performed, confirmation and tickets are in your personal space (my orders). You should check in the spam folder of your electronic email. As a last resort, a new ticket can be edited at the cashier’s desk using the reservation number or your email address.
It is not possible to change or cancel your reservation.
In case of cancelling or a change in the corresponding service by the Musée Guimet or a mistake in the handling of the request, a right to be reimbursed is available, in keeping with the terms of our General Conditions of Sale.
A margin of 30 minutes before and 1.30 hour after the time indicated on the ticket is possible.
