A network of trade routes from the 2th century BC to the Medieval era, Silk Roads have always been a collective object of fascination. With this new summer exhibition, the Hôtel départemental des expositions du Var in Draguignan invites the public to explore a concept that was incepted in the 19th century.
It showcases objects, photographies and archeological vestiges, including exceptional loans from the museum.
The exhibition is curated by Valérie Zaleski, Curator of the Buddhist and central China collections at musée Guimet.
